先是阀门粘结磨损产生磨粒,此磨粒硬度强度都较基体金属高,被压入软面而划伤硬面,同时,硬磨粒在软面内被硬面凸峰推挤而有移动从而犁伤软面。在磨擦面分开后,磨粒可能排出,但也可能仍然存在于软面上再次磨擦时又将划伤硬面并在软面上犁出更深更长的深沟,直至硬粒前方的软面抵抗不住硬粒的移动力而被剪切,软面上形成了条状沟槽,硬面上形成了划伤痕迹。
